Bent Creek Golf Course landscape

Designed by three-time Masters and British Open winner Gary Player, Bent Creek Golf Course-located in the Cobbly Nob area of the Great Smoky Mountains-blends in seamlessly with the majestic landscape in which it is situated. Since 1972, Bent Creek has been a Gatlinburg area golf destination thanks to a front nine that's nestled in a mountain valley and a back nine that provides challenging mountain play. The course can appear deceptively simple at first blush, but most who take it on find it to be all they can handle.

The 18-hole, par-72 course consists of Bermuda and bent grass surfaces that are playable year 'round, and each tee features a variety of wildflowers to complement the landscaped setting. A meandering mountain stream (hence the name Bent Creek) provides a common thread throughout the experience, which was rated by Southern Living Travel Guide as one of the “Top 50 Golf Courses in the South.” Amenities at Bent Creek Golf Village include a creekside grill, putting green, nearby cabin and condo rentals, a full-service golf shop, a PGA staff, golf lessons and packages combining golf and accommodations.
